I rented a car with Noleggiare in Bologna and returned to Rome. Upon return to Rome, the agent tried to show us damage to the vehicles windscreen which we could not see. He then proceeded to run the windscreen vigorously with his metal watch coming into contact with the windscreen on numerous occasions. The end result was a mark so tiny that a camera had to zoom in to see it, the mark measured less than 0.5mm. The agent then became abusive and aggressive when we tried to argue our point. He then proceeded to outline that a whole new windscreen was required and tabled a bill of €1080 to us. We emailed the company and requested the matter be reviewed however they didn’t respond and proceeded to charge my credit card even though we explicitly wrote to them that we did not authorise payment until the matter was received between both parties.
