On the morning of September 17th, I purchased a flight ticket online. However, the website ended up displaying a blank screen, and I was unable to confirm the ticket issuance. Believing that the ticket had not been processed, I subsequently purchased another ticket from a different airline for the same date. To my surprise, I later discovered that the initial ticket had indeed been issued and paid for. As a result, I ended up with two tickets for the same flight on the same day. I cancelled ITA Airways ticket not even 24 hours after buying it, and when I contacted customer service cancel the ticket with ITA Airways, I was informed that no reimbursement could be provided due to the ticket being purchased at a lower fare class (Light Tariff). Given the circumstances—specifically the faulty website that led to this unfortunate situation—I am requesting a full refund for the initial ticket. The total cost of the two tickets amounts to nearly 900 euros, which has resulted in a significant financial loss for me. Petrus Lee Booking Reference Number: S7F8OM
