Dear sir or madam,
My name is Radovanovic Jasmina. I live in Belgrade, Serbia. I hope you understand me because English is not the best.
In April, I visited your country, more precisely Sicily (from March 31 to April 5).I booked a car from Belgrade through the site rentalcars.com. On April 2, I pick up a car at Catania Airport, in the agency Maggiore.On the rentacars.com website it was written that the deposit is 120e. Maggiore requested a larger deposit (120 euros + 55 euros for full tank).I did not have a credit card, but I had a debit of 150 euros. That's why they asked me to leave them 400 euros in cash.Total charge was 202.42 EUR.The rest of the money was said to be available to my account by the end of April, as they did not return the deposit in cash.
(Beside this 400 EUR, I have payed £33.95 on website for this rental).
I returned the car in perfect condition.When I drop a car (April 5), They couldn't even provide me a proper receipt because their system was down at that moment, so Mr. Stefano from Maggiore office have written and signed everything on Car rental Agreement.
Since then, it's been 2 months, and I have not received any money yet (197.56 EUR).
On April 25, I sent them emails, and they did not respond to one.
I have been in your country 8 times and have no unpleasant experience, except this with Maggiore agency.
I hope you can help me with this problem. The amount that should be returned to me is very high for me and it is half my salary ( I work in elementary school as a teacher).
